Isolated phase bus ducts

The Isolated Phase Bus is characterized by the use of high conductivity aluminum conductor that is supported by porcelain insulators in an enclosure that is also made by the high conductivity aluminum.

Air is the main insulating medium. This configuration almost neglects the magnetic field produced by the conductor, avoiding any possible overheating of the nearby Third Party’s equipment.

IPB is primarily used in the transport of large amount of power, from Generator to GSU Transformer, usually in Thermoelectric, Nuclear and Hydroelectric Power Plants (up to 50,000 A and 36 kV).

IP65 protection degree already guarantee high reliability, but a micro pressurization system can be applied to increase the quality.

Other accessories like condensate dischargers, temperature probes, hydrogen detector, etc. can be offered if required.
